New Race Director for the Cowichan Challenge

I am excited to announce that for 2022 Human Powered Racing is hosting the Cowichan Challenge Triathlon and that I am the new race director for the event.

The Cowichan Challenge has been previously organized by CeeVacs Roadrunners. It is known as a super fun, laid back triathlon in the Cowichan Valley. We intend to continue this tradition. We have expanded the event to include youth races as well as the standard and sprint course triathlons. We are also including a standard course Aquabike that is a qualifying event for the 2023 World Aquabike Championships.

The Cowichan Valley is a great location to host a race. The central location is easy to access from anywhere on Vancouver Island. The swim is in Fuller Lake, a warm, calm lake near Chemainus. The bike courses utilize picturesque country roads with views of the ocean and mountains. The run courses are through forested west coast trails. This course is good for new triathletes and seasoned veterans alike.

Join us on July 3rd at Fuller Lake Park for the newest Human Powered Race.
